Having now laid my two six coach "00" platforms for the through station on my layout - 'Elmswood' and painted the surface a suitable grey colour to represent tarmac. I have now to put on the platform edge White lines and perhaps paint on some representation of copping stones too - Though this isn't essential!
My guess is that the platform edge white lines need to be around 1.0 to 1.5mm wide?

I have a shaky hand when it comes to painting a seven foot long line on each platform edge = 4 x 7ft lines needed!
