I have kept it to the basics 4mm/1ft

OO in my case, but that doesn't mean I ignore the other scales, including British HO (which I guess I wouldn't rule out if it had the support).

conundrums here, as I have bit of O as well......and I do like 7 1.4" gauge as well.....

I'm a bit of a rubbergauger. I've ticked OO because I have one small and two micro layouts in the scale (with another micro part built), I do also model in G, O, HO, N and OO9, but the poll asked for which is the scale MAINLY used, so OO gets the tick.

I wonder what difference it would have made if this poll had been posted in the HO section?


Or even the N gauge section!

It should really have been set up in the station concourse as neutral ground if it was aimed at everyone. Maybe the poll was only intended for those who model OO. People who model other gauges may not look here. It would have been an idea to include other larger gauges too as it would interesting to see how many people do that.

Well to be perfectly honest I'm surprised that this isn't done on an annual basis then Doug and the others in charge will know what there demographic is?

What do you think Doug? an on going poll for all gauges to get an idea of what we all do

yup a complete forum survey would be a good idea, Doug in all his wisdom and patients I'm sure gets frustrated with running the forum, and I for one are very grateful that he dose run it.

A search of polls reveals that this is the first poll of its type!

It is surprising that a scale one has not been done before.

An era poll was carried out some time ago. Maybe it should be given a sticky and "smaller than HO/OO" and larger than "HO/OO" added however it might need then to be moved out of the HO/OO section. I wonder how many N and O gauge modellers visit the HO/OO sections?
