It's probably in front of my face but how do I post an image that's in "my documents" onto the forum ?

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA.

You need somewhere to host them like www.photobucket.com and it's free and you get 2 GB of space for photos and videos, once you have uploaded it to there you will see a url for the image below it right click on it so it's highlighted and click copy.

Then in your post click the image tab which is yellow and paste the image url into it and click ok and the image will appear when you click add reply.

Thanks for that - I'll give it a try.
Should you, at some time in the future, use up the Photobucket quota there is another option. ImageShack is a photo hosting system which does not require registration, just click on the link and follow the easy instructions on their website. The copy the URL given to the forum and your picture is up.

I have no commercial connection with ImageShack, just a contented user of both their services and those of Photobucket. One advantage of having the Photobucket registration though is the ability to go back and find the pictures to use again elsewhere if needed rather than uploading again for a fresh URL or copying the existing URL from a previous forum post to re-use.
Please also refer to this topic for info on posting photos.

Look forward to seeing them.
