I have just fitted a TCS MC2 decoder to a Hornby 8F. Prior to doing so I ran the chassis with a Bachmann 3 function decoder attached although this is too large for permanent fitting. It responds to the controller as it should except for one difficulty - it runs in the wrong direction. It did this with the Bachmann decoder as well. Now it says in the Bachmann EZ instructions that this can be altered by pressing buttons on the controller in a specific order. I have done this several times with both decoders but every time it makes no difference.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? Can anyone throw any light on the problem. Thank you in advance for any help that you may be able to give.

If this installation uses an 8-pin plug then just turn the plug round 180 deg or, if hard wired reverse the motor connections.

Otherwise look up the decoder instructions for the correct CV to charge it.
