I Have An ecos 50100 Which Has Never Been Updated. Am currently Programming Cobalt Digiital Turnout Motors. My Problem Is This. When The cobalt Is Set For turning left( Using It On A Left Hand Turnout) the Icon On the ecos Is set for Straight ahead. I Changed the cobalt To be straight ahead When programming However the first time i touched the Icon It Changed To Turn Left . The cobalt Did Not Move. Touch It Again And Both the Icon And cobalt Change But They Are Now Out of Sync. Hopefully Im Doing Something stupid. Also I cannot Change The cobalts Using A 9 volt Battery. Does this Only Work On The analogue Versions? Any help Would Be Grateful.

***Hello Ashley

its a shame the software in ECOS can't simply swap direction - it'd be so much easier.

However....

if they are original digital Cobalt, then the best way is to simply turn the motor itself 180 degrees.

if they are the new iP Digital Cobalt, then there is a simple software setting procedure in the manual to flip the change direction.

Yes, the battery idea is only really for the original analog version. A cobalt digital will not work reliably with a 9v battery unless its brand new and fully charged. Better to use an old 12v modem power supply or similar from the bottom drawer....

May seem like a simplistic suggestion but, would changing over the input wires at the point motor not achieve the required result?

**No, it is a digital device. Commands are specific. Swapping wires will not help
