Project: O Scale Loco Shed w/working Doors

Hi to all,

I have started an O scale engine house project with working motorized doors for Proses about two months ago. Unlike the usual way, I shared the designing steps on some O gauge Facebook groups and asked their opinions, suggestions, comments to make it an interactive, end-user contributed project. It really helped a lot. At the beginning, I was planning a 50 cm long house. Many people said that wouldn't be enough and I increased it to 60 cm. On my first design steps, the doors were sliding under the roof horizontally which I changed to a rolling mechanism as many people said they want to see the interior when looking from above and a sliding mechanism is blocking the view from the top.

That was an interesting and productive time course which took shape as below at the end.

Now I am working on the HO/OO scale and hope to finish it in a few weeks and bring it to The London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace on 23rd of March.
