Quistion about Hornby's Class 09

Hello,

I've got a Hornby Class 09, but South West Digital makes a ESU sound decoder for the Class 08, but I don't know if the Class 09 sounds (almost) the same as a Class 08?

And is it correct that a ESU sound decoder from South West Digital 95 pounds costs?

there will be some digital sound chips going on to ebay in the next couple of weeks and if you speak to the bloke selling them he may! be able to set it as an 08 chip.

It all depends what sounds he has.
