'Railway Lives' is a series being broadcast at 10am to 11am on the Discovery Realtime channel every day this week. (And may continue for the next week or two.) It is looking at present and past railways, railway enthusiasts and the like. It is a 'Kingfisher Production in association with ITV'.
The first programme (10-10.30am) dealt with railways in Lincolnshire around Stamford, including Robert Humm's bookshop, Skegness and the station at Woodhall Junction - disused but occupied by an enthusiast.
The second programme (10.30-11am) looked at the preservation of steam on part of Poland's railways, aided by British railway enthusiasts, and running a regular series of steam driving courses etc.
