Woohoo - brilliant. The Chris Tarrant journey was superb IMHO. I think I need to buy another Humax Freesat box on their Managers' Specials, as the Guide/Menu on the older ones is becoming a PITA Just think - a whole Humax PVR dedicated to Train & Car stuff!

I was actually catching up on my recordings of GCRJ Series III last night (St Petersburg - fascinating history Portillo digs out) and identified it managed to record all episodes without a failure. Well pleased as I thought I would have to buy the DVD, which I did for S1 + 2. The Black Forest to Hannover episode is one of his best.
If you missed the 07:40 departure from Kings Cross to York of the Flying Scotsman hauled train this morning, there is a programme coming up on 07/03/2016 (Mon) at 20:30 to 21:00 on Freeview Ch9 (BBC4) "The Return of Flying Scotsman".
I did - cannot get BBC1 here in Munich and was getting txts all morning from my sister in the UK. Will be back on the 7th so many thanks for the heads-up.
