Something new on the horizon:

Woohoo - brilliant. The Chris Tarrant journey was superb IMHO. I think I need to buy another Humax Freesat box on their Managers' Specials, as the Guide/Menu on the older ones is becoming a PITA :) Just think - a whole Humax PVR dedicated to Train & Car stuff!
Bit more detail:
01/02/2016 Mon 18:30 to19:00 Great American Railway Journeys: Manhattan: Grand Central to Broadway
02/02/2016 Tue 18:30 to 19:00 Great American Railway Journeys: Manhattan-Lower East Side to World Trade Centre
Daily series presented by Michael Portillo
Cheers Ron

I was actually catching up on my recordings of GCRJ Series III last night (St Petersburg - fascinating history Portillo digs out) and identified it managed to record all episodes without a failure. Well pleased as I thought I would have to buy the DVD, which I did for S1 + 2. The Black Forest to Hannover episode is one of his best.
