QUOTE I don't know how to post them on here for you to see!!

The instructions for posting photos are in this topic:

How to post photos

If you need more help, let me know.

I for one am very keen to see your photos as I have been thinking along similar lines myself but haven't got as far as actually trying to build the MSE kit I have.

I must admit, that reading something like this thread shows how spoilt the Germanic modeller really is.

I take reasonably well detailed working signals for granted (Viessmann for semaphore, Marklin for colour light). While these signals are not cheap, that are not that expensive (unless you need a lot of them).

Interesting ideas Richard. I don't think that you would go far wrong using the Viessmann signal motor. Maybe you should send them your signal design and they might start making them?

EU modellers certainly have it easier with some lovely signal and accessory product UK modelers would dearly love to be able to get for their own prototypes, but as Paul has shown, its a lovely and satisfying part of the hobby taking small brass bits and making something special from them with your own two hands too.

As to using veismann with my designs.... But then they'd end up Veismann prices John :) :)

- nope, if I do go ahead and them it'll be direct manufacturer to me, and me to user + only a few selected specialist retailers, keeping the price where it should be... and making them in etched, investment cast and milled Brass I can match Veismann quality no problem at all.

Hi Ben,

Check out this page on the Forum's "Links" section. It's arranged alphabetically so you'll find Viessmann on the last page. Allow yourself an hour or two to surf their whole site, they don't just do signals.

There's a few other interesting manufacturers in the list too.
