Can anyone tell me where or when BR gulf red and BR grey were used for goods wagons? Did one colour replace the other at a certain date, or was it a regional thing?

I found the term BR gulf red in the Graham Farish catalogue. I assume than that it's another term for bauxite.

So, next question: What is fitted and unfitted stock? I notice that there are guards vans in both bauxite and grey.
