Excellent modelling Al. Now comes the best part; painting & weathering it. Take your time on it. Any plans of how to proceed?

Al, did you check out Evergreen plastics. As far as I can see from the photo the handrails seem to be like U-Channels of which Evergreen has all sorts of. The plates in between seems easy enough.

Fantastic modelling Al!

I can now imagine the work yet to be done; the river running below, mountains, trees , a backdrop...maybe a tunnel with a backstage behind where the train enters the stage....imagination has no limits

Hello Al,

It should be a shame to keep all the layout at home. Once finished Remagen would be a perfect exhibition layout for lots of people to view. Since you are in the brink of construction why not make everything modular?

Going along very well Al.
Now comes the toughest part that will give the layout a character.....the river.
How do you plan to tackle it?
