That's a seriously long looking bridge Al. I'm guessing that the pencil is about 7" which makes the bridge a couple of yards??

QUOTE I'm reasonable pleased with it

You must have very high standards, it looks great in the photos.

The Forth bridge is probably quite feasible with T Gauge and with that new Deltic kit.....

David
In T gauge it would be 5.2 metres or somewhere around 17 feet which is too short for the usual 16' garage....

David
The bridge continues to progress very nicely

I wonder how look it took to build the original?

QUOTE Simply put, I can't get the hand rails that run down outside of the bridge right. I can't find anything on the market thats right, and all my attemps at making some in brass has been a disaster.

That's a shame.

Have you considered having a custom brass etch done, or is that just too expensive?

I am so pleased that you're making progress again.

I was thinking of your bridge yesterday while watching a Cambrian Railways train crossing an O Gauge model of the Barmouth bridge at Warley yesterday.

QUOTE I bet that 'O' gauge Barmouth Bridge looked impressive.

It did.

David
It's good to know that the model is progressing one way or another.

David
QUOTE Impressive.

It's not often that you will see scenery that high modelled anywhere - it's mighty impressive

QUOTE Haven't the faintest idea yet.

That grey colour looks like a good start.

These large rivers - I've seen the Rhine, Danube, Inn and Elbe - never seem to flow "clear". There are always seem to be vast amounts of sediment being carried along.

David
Inventive! Very impressive
