I've renumbered a variety of plastic-bodied rolling stock recently using Halfords "Colour Restorer" and cotton buds to remove the original printing.
Renumbering coaches
I want to turn a GWR corridor coach into a camping coach. I have all the new lettering and numbers, but what is the best method to take off the old numbers without damaging the plastic of the carriage. Thanks. Bernard
