A couple of nice jobs there Sarah. These now rather-vintage Open-cab Panniers can be picked up quite cheaply and are easy candidates for improvement. This is one which I worked up a while back [its ex-works finish is deliberate].

The tarps would have weathered down to a dirty grey I guess Sarah, probably fairly quickly too. The couplings were a plug-in I seem to remember. If you are interested, here's the link to the build blog:

Spot on Sarah. Those Dapol [ex-Airfix] are beautifully moulded, very easy to modify and make such a pleasant change from the ubiquitous Hornby and Bachmann railway crew.
