*** OO isn't a scale, it is a gauge - the distance between the tracks.

The scale for "OO" is 4mm to one foot or close enough to 1:76. So just divide the actual real world measurement by 76.

Hiya

Since you are going to need a calculator to do the maths may as well use the proper numbers. 4mm scale is 1 to 76.2 not 1 to 76. If your real world measurement is in feet just times by 4 and you have the measurement in mm.

A very basic conversion table. (Well, I can understand it!
)

Actual...........................4mm/foot "OO"

12 inches..............................4mm

9 inches................................3mm

6 inches................................2mm

3 inches................................1mm

1 1/2 inches.........................1/2 mm
