I have brought and used the Terraced Houses kit. I am very impressed with the quality of the textures and the thought put into the design of the houses. Supplied with the kit is a wide choice of colour for the exterior doors, different options for the interior walls and floors are also supplied.

The windows are intended to be printed onto transparent film that you can obtain for use with overhead projectors. Curtains and blinds are supplied in various colours for dressing the windows.

To finish the houses you would ideally need to add chimney pots and gates as these are not supplied.

I used the kit to create a money box for my little brother by only building a single house instead of the pair without the rear extension and adding some reinforcement to the interior. This was instead of using the interiors supplied. The roof was adapted to be removable and a slot large enough to accept coins was cut into the roof. Heavily kit-bashed, but the end effect is very good and I am happy with it.

Should I ever have a requirement for terraced houses on a layout I would happily use this kit as it is straight forward to construct and gives a finished item with plenty of scope for extra detailing of the interiors and exteriors.

I am currently waiting for the industrial building kit to become available to asses it's suitability for a layout that I am in the early stages of planning and am considering purchasing and kit-bashing the north light engine shed into a 1 road example for the same layout.

This was created on Christmas Eve as a novelty present for my brother, so I didn't have very long to construct it. Please excuse the obvious construction errors, the camera makes them look worse than they are!

Please also excuse the picture quality, I borrowed a camera that I haven't used before so they aren't the best that I've done.

I didn't have any clear plastic available for the windows, so I used tracing paper and a felt pen to create the windows and frames. Other than that, the textures are as supplied in the terraced house kit except the house is obviously kit-bashed into a money box. The roof has been made removable and the interior strengthened to accommodate this usage.
