SCARM layout software

Hello dear friends,

I want to introduce my freeware layout design program, called SCARM, which you can download and test from www.scarm.info. After the last major update, SCARM is able to print the track plan and now it has more than 40 track libraries included.

Because SCARM is still under development, I collect any ideas about new functionality or improving the existing features. I will appreciate any comments concerning SCARM here or by email - scarm at scarm dot info.

I was not sure where to post this topic, so I do it here - please excuse me if this is not the correct place or if I'm violating some of the forum rules.

Mixy,

I use Norton Anti-virus with Vista and have no problems. I have found the programme easy to use but would like it to be bit easier to connect track up and to design baseboards. It is the best that I have used so far and I will put my layout plan on to this thread when finished.
The developer did ask for our views and has made it clear that the software is under development. He also wants our ideas on how to improve it so for me he can do no more and I am happy to help.
As I have said it is relatively easy to use compared with some layout software but has some not so good bits which I for one and others have highlighted.

Below is part of the developer's first thread.

I also wish him well with the sofware.
