very nice. i have an unpainted water tender body luying around somewhere. oneday i might do something with it.

Peter
Quite interesting in that it has the motor in the first tender. The second tender is basically the same chassis with non-slip drive wheels, gears and housing for motor, but without the motor.

One could add a motor to the second to give it a bit more punch, or perhaps use it for a sound decoder.
Sound, you must add sound and a wonderful locomotive it is!

Thanks very much for that. You have jsut given me the best idea to install sound in my White knight. As their is no room in the existing tender due to the insert, I just get another one. Brilliant.

Sorry, it's a 2nd hand, but pristine 1993 DC electric tender drive version.

The live steam version has been cancelled.

We will have to wait to hear if Hornby plan to do it in the future.

Dunno, but I liked the warning to the effect that the second tender was cosmetic and didn't carry water!

4mm scale axle pump anyone? Or how about an 00 live steam injector?
