I'm for a scratch building forum as long as it covers scratch building any part of a model, locomotive or rolling stock. That would include building kits that require more than glue such as soldering, cutting, machining or kit bashing where some piece is made or moulded from stock plastic, wood, resin or paper.
What I wouldn't want is some limitation or qualification due to differences regarding what is scratchbuilt and what isn't. That way the forum would be both inclusive and also more welcoming to those wishing to get their hands wet.
How about we call it a "Builders Corner" and use the above description?
