Hi ALL!

I 've built hungarian diesel locomotive MÁV M41 in gauge 1. This modell (the original one) is the most used diesel loco in hungarian second line rail. My modell controlled by RC and power supply came from LiFE battery (2300ma capacity) This battery enought to use more than 3 hours. Model has 4 pcs. 12v motor (each axel) Please see attached pictures

Thanks a lot!
I ve built these drive system and my plan was that to keeping everything inside the bogie's geometry. These construction allow some 'flexibility' that means axes (radsatz) can move separately (like a suspension) and of course you have more space inside the body! (for a accu or whatever..)
I could change the motor easily if need a different performance of it (12v or 24v).
Now im using a 12 v motor in my loco (operating voltage 10v-16v approx 8-10 wat at full load / each) but what you can see in the pictures is different one (24v for LGB or Piko higher voltage use)
The speed of the wheel (of the loco) on 12 volt approx. 110km/h (in 1/32 scale of course).
The gear ratio is built up one bevel gear (next the motor) and one spur gear on the train axle.

Best Regards

Ákos
