QUOTE (pete @ 23 May 2007, 22:39) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>any body know where to get wagons that carry shipping containers?

I checked the hornby catalouge but could not see them......only the actual containers themeselves
I believe that www.bachmann.co.uk is one place look for OO scale, (but perhaps there are others?):

July/Aug 37-303 Intermodal Bogie Wagon With 45ft. Containers 'ASDA' (X2) £ 28.40
July/Aug 37-304 Intermodal Bogie Wagon With 45ft. Containers 'Malcolm Logistics' (X2) £ 28.40
July/Aug 37-305 Intermodal Bogie Wagon With 45ft. Containers 'DHL' (X2) £ 28.40
tick 37-315 Intermodal Flats (Pair) Without Containers Black £ 20.20
tick 37-316 Intermodal Flats (Pair) Without Containers Green (Weathered) £ 21.25

Specifically here: http://www.bachmann.co.uk/prod1.php4?prod_...line&prod=5

Hope this helps,

QUOTE (alibuchan @ 23 May 2007, 23:38) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>there is also a company called C-Rail (http://www.c-rail-intermodal.co.uk/) they have kits for both N and 00 containers
That's who I was thinking of but couldn't remember the name of...

I imagine that if you tried Hornby first then you want OO? However for completeness Maerklin do them in Z!
