I had a nice day shopping yesterday. I picked up a Bachmann double chimney Ivatt class 4, a Bachmann weathered crab, A Bachmann Fairbairn Tank , a Hornby rebuilt BoB 'Sir Kieth Park" and an asortment of Dapol, Parkside Dundas and Cooper-Craft wagon kits. Plus a new computer desk to use a work bench. So what did you buy this Saturday.

Nothing model railway related. I did just pick up a copy of L.A. Guns Waking the Dead.
I did get myself a little treat for the railway a few weeks ago, a Hornby R2441 Flying Scotsman brand new for half price and no sign of any water damage from where it washed up on the beach.
What has impressed me most about this loco is it's hauling abilities, I took her down to the club Monday night with my mixed Eastern region set and she happily strolled away with 13 on, my Peppercorn A1 made much more of a meal out of them.

Small video camera and some computer hardware plus another Skype phone. Oh and I have two $500 Visa cash cards waiting for me at home that I'll have to find a use for.

I haven't bought anything but I was bidding on Ebay for a Scotrail DMU which closes tommorow. Not the rip off ones!
2 meter lengths of 15 x 20mm 1.5 aluminium; 1 meter 15mm x 1.5 aluminium; 4 brass plated 2" angle brackets.

got them both off ebay still in boxes, never used and managed to save a few quid on the going rate for them as well including postage...well happy
I managed to buy 10 x stock transit boxes & 20 adjustable feet for St Laurent - really exiting stuff - oh & a tiny toffee hammer.
>20 adjustable feet for St Laurent
Does that mean it's on its way to becoming a centipede?

After three weeks of living through a back which had decided to be awkward and learning to walk properly again (or at least it seemed like that) I rewarded my self with a bargain Class 31 from Rails of Sheffield, £47.50!

Going to be spending a lot more on the car though...MOT, 72K service, new cam belt......lucky me though, ehhh

I use to work on cars when I was young and silly . But now I'm older and wiser I get the mechanic to do it for me. It leaves more time for modelling.
This is my latest beast, 5.7litre V8 285KW and 580NM of torque top speed of 280KPH.

it's fun a winding road to let it have it's way with me.
