Basically as the title says, SWMBO and her slave (ie, me
) are going to the Somme area on holiday, bit more research on the CFBS railway [in process of building a layout "based on" Le Crotoy {pics will be put on when I can} and want more research on Noyelles for the expansion plans]
Anyway, what we would like to know is - are there any model ralway shops in the Amiens/Abbeville/St Valery "area" worth visiting while we are there? I would point out that SWMBO is as much into railway modelling as I am, so no need to worry about losing her for "a while"

Merci beaucoup, à l'avance.

Hello,
nothing in Amiens, but the following are not far:

Le petit diable
120 Boulevard raymond Poincaré
62400 Bethune

Pico Modele
370 rue d'Aniche
59500 Douai

St Eloi Modelisme
6 Place Carnot
02100 St Quentin

The first two advertise in the press, not sure about the third, may be pot luck, but all 3 towns have something to offer the visitor.

Regards

Clive

The only model shops near here also sell mainly toys. Shame. The nearest 100% model shop is in Aix-en-Provence. Really too far the day out.
