Please for those of you who do not know that when you Purchase any Loks or Railcars From a Brawa Main Dealer you will not only get a 2 year warranty at the 2 year point you send it to Brawa for servicing they will give you another 3 year warranty on top. Hello,
Resource recovery. It's an unpleasant place to be.

Yes, you should get a certificate that stamped by the dealer, to send back to Brawa for the three year extension. The 5-year warranty thing is based on locos sold by selected dealers. I wasn't aware of the servicing part. My local Brawa guy might not be impressed by that, given that I've opted to buy elsewhere.
This differs from the matrix 5yr warranty approach which is based on all MHI products, which in turn are sold only by MHI dealers. The 25th anniversary of the MHI concept was glorified in the 2015 New Items brochure, with around 24 pages of MHI products covered by the 5 year warranty. The item on the cover of that brochure was the 'new' S2/6. This model appeared in the brochure around page 25, just after the MHI festival.
So sadly, it didn't seem to qualify for a 5-year warranty.
Maybe I misread the brochure, but none of the S2/6 boxes that I've seen have the MHI logo either.
Meh, it's a moot point for me anyway. To return anything to europe for repair is not cost effective. I may as well spend the freight charges and pay for any repair work here.
I like those little rail cars Babz. I remember seeing one in a documentary here (Global Village) on a town where they had a single car that had been running the same short route for several decades. The model is the wrong time frame for me though. It does help with resource recovery...

I am interested in what your view is of the performance of the Brawa Ferkeltaxi Babz. Mine seems to be hopelessly overgeared and needs full power even to just creep along at a moderately slow speed. It is also very noisy. Perhaps my model is faulty or are they designed that way?
Best regards .................. Greyvoices (alias John)

Hello,
Well done, Babz (and partner). E95 is one of my favourites. I had planned on getting this, but the reality of having two finally bit and I decided against it. Looks like they only built to pre-order numbers, as they are mostly showing as 'sold out' already at Brawa.
Keep an eye on the pantograph springs; they have a habit of coming loose.
Hey TonkaToy, Nice Description, I have to admit it is the Most Ugly Elok I have. Just by any chance are you an Ex Tornado Driver. ( Not the Railway Kind ).
