I couldn't find much of a 'standard' baggage coach for Egyptian Rail, either in models or photographs. Here's one example that I was trying to find:I have that same wagon in a DB consist with a Br.151 leading the way.
I keep my eyes out for Fleischmann HO. They are nicely turned out models and are hard to find if they are later models. This wagon came today. It's an Era II DR coach by Fleischmann. It's lighted, but with only a single bulb in the center, but it works.
It's an older model as it uses the bogie mounted Fleischmann Profi couplers mounted on a tab on the bogie. It rides way too high to couple with any current coupler used.
I had to replace the coupler with an NEM coupler pocket I cobbled from extra parts I had and then used the Roco type hook and loop.
It's a beautifully made and finished coach with a lot of applied details. Cost me $4.25 US and is like new with the original plastic box.
