Can only echo the recommendations to run with the temp controlled Antex which is what I use exclusively. Excellent iron. The other good thing is to have a couple of tips - one for whitemetal and one for brass as the two mixing on the one tip create some obscure alien compound metal that doesn't do much for your iron tip.
