Can anyone tell me where I might obtain plans of station buildings in oo scale. Are there books on the subject or any particular issue of magazine known which may contain plans.

I don't know about plans but a quick google search revealed this. Click on the link:-

There are certainly books available on railway infrastructure, and although they do not feature plans for modellers, they are useful as a guide for modellers.

What type of station are you after?

The stations in different parts of the country had different styles and were built of different materials.
