Steam to make a comeback?
Today, as often the case when looking for something, I came across an interesting article about something else, altogether different.
21st Century Steam - The 5AT Project
A proposal to build a brand new, state-of-the-art, 4-6-0 steam loco. loosely based on the 'Black 5'. It seems that a good deal of the initial design work has already been completed and that they are still recruiting some technical staff.
For steam lovers, a very interesting site, though I imagine our 'Tornado' probably knows about it already.

My reference was deliberately a little cryptic and it has taken ages for anyone to bite. I thought perhaps our LNER representation might, but it turns out to be an American!

While researching the resurrection/preservation of steam, one might eventually come up with these.
The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust
LNER Peppercorn Class A1
The answer is 60163.
My Aunty always used to tell me, "You are far too clever for your own good".
She still does, the odd time I see her!
