Steam Train Monster Moves

Hi all,

I know it's a repeat programme and it's the usual media 'calling a locomotive a train' title, but it's a worthwhile watch on the move of a South African Railways loco to Glasgow.

Good fun if you missed it previously

I saw the programme when it was first broadcast - excellent.
Hi,

It certainly met the current broadcast criteria for providing 'entertainment' in factual programming, even a sing-along song developing through the journey
Great Fun.

There was also a 'Monster Moves' with a Union Pacific theme, moving both a Big Boy and a Centennial to a landmark site (and also an old station - depot? - building, cut in half, to another location). That one has already been repeated several times, but will no doubt show up again at some point
No song though

Regards.

Hello, I'm new to this site so not sure what i'm doing yet!
There was a programme on Channel 5 on 26th Feb called Monstere Moves about the moving of a steam train from South Africa back to teh UK. I'm wondering if anyone has a copy of this that I can copy? My 3 1/2 yr old son is bonkers about steam trains & loved this programme but can't find it anywhere! Any hep will be much appreciated!

Hi Julia, and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure it won't be long before you can find your way around - if I can do it... (albeit in a limited fashion
) Be assured that if you have any queries about that or the great world of model railways there'll be a friendly response

Unfortunately your request isn't one that can be acted on, copyright and all that. However, these programmes do come up on FIVE on a fairly regular basis, and if you have digital channels I've seen them come up on some of those also. Your 3 1/2 year old probably won't have too long to wait
