straight 00 guage track without sleepers???

Does anyone know where I can buy straight track lengths without sleepers attached. I'm returning to model rail after a good many years away. I used to buy just straight lengths of track and fix to a board already painted with sleepers. Can you get track lengths anymore? Nickel silver preferred as it's going outdoors.

Hav'nt seen rail on its own for a while, but if no-one else comes up with anything a trawl through RM & so on should net results.

You could also see iff there is any exhibitions near to you - many modellers build their own track, so they must have a source.

Keith,

I buy my rail from Marcway who are on Attercliffe Road in Sheffield. See: MarcWay Models.

M G Sharp are just along the road from them, so if you are ever passing, it is worth leaving the M1 at Tinsley Viaduct, Junction 34, and driving a mile along Attercliffe Road towards Sheffield and you can visit them both. See: M G Sharp,

Colombo
Peco still sell their rails as seperate items - see Page 100 (the last page) of their current catalogue or www.peco-uk.com. They also still make slipon chairs for several scales for those making their own track.
