We went off to the Swindon show at the weekend, and very enjoyable it was too. Here's a few photo's of the massive layout Overlord. As the name suggests this model represents a port just prior to the invasion of France in 1944. The level of detail is fantastic. The shear size of the shipping is the most impressive thing.

Very impressive Mike as an X military modeller I can say there has been a lot of modelling there.

Have you got any pics of the other layouts that were there.

Hi MMAD,

It was at the BRM show up at Harrogate earlier this year in Feb, it certainly is a very well modelled, its always great to see the more unsual scences and I look forward to seeing more of them out there!

No I didn't take any other photo's at Swindon. As always it's good to pass some time with old mates, see what's new, and make a few selective purchases.
