Hello,

Here are some photos of my layout that I started two and a half year ago. It's an end to end fictitious terminal station called Syères (pronounced "sea air") on the Côte d'Azur. I operate eras 3, 4, and 5 to accomodate my growing stock. These photos were taken during era 3 operation.
This is the first time I have posted photos so here's hoping.............................

Signal box no 2 and the station throat.

View of station with an ADX 122 (AS Models) under the canopy.

Another view of station with Roco 050B on left and Piko 230E on right.

View of small shed with 231K on left and 232U1 on right (both Jouef).

Lots more to do the layout, so it will keep me busy! Almost forgot here's one for Baykal

Hope this works, apologies to the administrators if it doesn't.

regards

Clive

Clive super,

Now that you've managed photo loading would like to see more. Specially the SNCF steamers.
Thats a 57 isn't it?

Hello Baykal,
you quite rightly spotted a 57 in its SNCF 050B guise. These were one class of the Armistice locos handed over by Germany as reparations after the First World War, and continued to give great service in France until the mid 60s. Thanks for your comments, will post some more steamers soon!

Hello,
thanks for your kind words, here are some more pics especially of steamers:

A weathered 241P (Jouef) about to leave the station.

A 141P on left (A recent Hornby/Jouef model), a 231K on right (another Jouef, but this is 35 years old).

Another 141P on shed; this is the most recent HJ model of a steamer and runs beautifully.

This time a Roco 230G on shed, this has been repainted green which makes this loco more than black. (IMHO!)

This is my latest acquisition,Electrotren CC 65500 otherwise known as a Dakota, runs well.

Regards

Hello,
due to an impending house move the layout will be ripped up and redone, not sure what space will be available yet! Here are the final photos of Syères during era 5 operation:

CC21000, BB7200 and BB 9200 and BB36000 on shed

Long line of "nez cassés" on shed

Diesels and electrics on shed

2 views of TGV Thalys at the station:

Great looking pictures, Clive! It's a shame it has to be dismantled.

& sadly, about the only time a layout is "finished" !

Good luck with the housemove & look forward to seeing the new layout progress.
