Hi All,

I found this information on the TCS site for a recall on the M SERIES decoders shipped in December of 2008

That's good support really I think. Takes guts to do that. Easier to have said nothing and see what happens as many might have done hey?

Since TCS offer a "goof proof" warranty anyway, we would have been able to return the decoders if they failed, regardess of whether they had posted the fault notice or not.

Still, it is good that they ahve said there may be a problem.

I have availed myself of their warranty on one occasion, and that was entirely my own stupidity that blew up the decoder. They replaced it, knowing that it was my fault, with no quibbles at all.

So, top marks to TCS all round, I think!

As pointed out a very good decision made by TCS and this is another good reason for me to stick with them. I have never had problems with with the TCS decoder and find them very easy to programme.

A shame another well known manufacturer didnt do this when they knew they had problems with their decoders and controllers.

Well done TCS!
