Since TCS offer a "goof proof" warranty anyway, we would have been able to return the decoders if they failed, regardess of whether they had posted the fault notice or not.

Still, it is good that they ahve said there may be a problem.

I have availed myself of their warranty on one occasion, and that was entirely my own stupidity that blew up the decoder. They replaced it, knowing that it was my fault, with no quibbles at all.

So, top marks to TCS all round, I think!
