Darth vader Cape Cloak Event Costume design

Darth Vader

These are the highlights that Bachmann wanted you to see! Note that many models on display are hand made development models that have been hand painted. The new diesel shunter for the junior train set just made it in grey pre-production form. Lady Penelope was present also. The LMS Ivatt tank loco and Evening Star were two of the stars. Plenty of Mk2 coaches and Pullmans. New container wagons and rolling stock were unveiled fore the first time. There are one or two grey pre-production samples however the detail can be seen

Bachmann Locomotives with Sound!

Bachmann had a layout set up and every loco running on it had a sound chip. All controlled by the Bachmann EZ-Command Digital Control Unit. The unit has the capacity to control 128 functions which is more then enough to permit trains to blow horns and have brake squeal!

Darth Vader and companions head for the model railway stands.

Hornby Skaledale and Lyddle End buildings selection together with one or two interesting Thomas items and the Hornby Class 47. There were no M7's or King Arthur's to photograph and the previous quality Model Rail Forum coverage of the Hornby 2006 range pretty much said it all!

Hornby International locomotives and rolling stock. These are possibly the first pictures published of actual models fresh off the new production lines and complete with new standards of finish and engineering.

Hornby Digital being demonstrated including pictures of the demonstration layout.
