Used to attend when my daughters in University up there! Great memories! Can not come this year as I have a seasonal job in Northants as father Christmas at a local garden centre. It meant that I could not get to Warley!

I got a lift into Manchester on the Sunday as I have a morbid fear of driving in the city.
I’m extremely glad that I did as I would say that it was the best show I’ve been to in a very long time.
The entry price was good (£10 on the door), there was a lot more room than in the previous venue but as has been noted elsewhere, the catering crew were rather ill prepared, apparently, despite having been forewarned of how busy it would be. Apparently, some folks in the first hall were “chilly” - all I can say was, it’s winter time folks, wrap up warm because you can always remove outer layers, not so easy to add clothes. Plus, it was in the middle of a cold snap that was forecast!

Finally from me, here is the equally stunning “Sherton Abbas” in 7mm scale. He’s displaying his layout at a good height too. Sorry for children and wheelchair users (a step stool was provided for the little ones) but you have to consider that the owner/operator has to spend the whole weekend stood there, if you have to stoop at all - it’s MURDER on the back.
Just my opinion.
