The Railway Channel is a free broadband television service bringing railway related programmes to like minded people. There's no need to install special software, no need to spend hours downloading, no need to spend any money before you watch anything and here's another statistic that will interest everyone - we recorded over 40,000 hits last weekend!

Our new site is on the way with pages full of movies, news and information and, don't forget, the movies are free on TRC!

Monday 23rd April - The Monday Film - The Talyllyn
We spend the day with loco driver John Scott on this grandaddy of all preserved railways

Tuesday 24th April - Steam Tuesday - The Leighton Buzzard Steam Railway
One of the first industrial railways to move away from steam is finding a place as being renowned for its locomotives! A trip amongst the back gardens and hazards such as kids lie await for us on this former sand carrying line

Wednesday - 25th April - Hidden Treasure - The Southwold Railway
Stephen Bazire provides the recreated line in his back garden, the archive footage of the original line and plays the bass in the group that provides the music. Thanks, Stephen!

Thursday - 26th April - The Club - Leamington and Warwick
This club solved their accomodation problem by moving out into the country and setting up store in a converted barn. Sounds a bit too hick for you? Wait until you see it.

Friday - 27th April - Weekend Return - Railex 2006
Mark Found brings us highlights of last year's Railex including the fabulous Penhallick and London MRC's Copenhagen Fields.

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April - The Weekend Film - The Foxfield Railway
Great footage for our look at this industrial railway in Staffordshire.
