Another doom and gloom story to add to the rest. When will the country wake up to the fact that Labour got it wrong and call for a vote of no confidence?
Steve
I don't normally moan about politicians (well, not on this forum!
) but a time-served signalman on the Marches route was telling me a thing or two about the new "Parliamentary" between North and South Wales. Apparently they finally saw sense and reduced it to just one Class 57 (to handle three Mk2s) but have added a restaurant car for the first class passenger (and it is normally in the singular) - the joke is that the second class passengers are denied access to this facility...... Is this a gross abuse of power?
I wonder if the 56's used on the fastline container service will be sold off ?
It is interesting to note though that whilst dining cars are being withdrawn from many trains on the ECML they are being added to the welsh parliamentary hmmmm..... I wonder if the welsh assembly is paying expenses for its members to travel first class on this train might explain why it needs a dining car
