I am building this site:

The Terminus

Obviously, I do not want to attract you all away to my (virtually none existant )forum, but I would like some feedback on it (the website) so far, as well as any problems you are having or did have as newbies.

Thanks,

Looks like a nice site to me.

Two points:

I had to drop my security settings to get anything to appear. perhaps you should let people know about this.

If you wish to focus on the beginner then on issues like points: maybe show how you wire the Hornby and Peco versions. I remember years ago wondering which was best!!! I agree with simply asserting that you should start in OO. But you risk upsetting N gauge people.

i wish you success with the project.

Thanks TVBG - I didn't know about the security settings bit

I have yet to install any point motors on my layout, and that was a friend's temporary layout featured, and as I thought of doing an N gauge section, but I dabble in OO and Z, so I have nothing to offer
- are you an N gauge man?

Thanks,

No I dabble in OO too. A very happy buyer of Hornby Southern this coming year.

Was just thinking aloud what some N scale people might say about your advice. Given you also discuss space issues?

I do think you should offer help with the two most common points though.

I think you would also be providing a good service if you have a section on the new Hornby DCC and aid in linking the old dc to the new.

I think a lot of people will be surfing the net to ask...

How do i install the Hornby Elite to my trackmat guv?

Funny enough I have just written a DCC page on the Bachmann EZ Command, Lenz Compact and Set 90 (oh, and also making trees from grape stalks)!

I'll upload it now
