the sheer number and variety of 'Bullet Trains" really is almost beyond belief.
There are several top notch Japanese manufacturers besides the more well-known (in the West) company of Kato and the quality and variety of what they produce between them, together with highly competititive pricing could easily suck one in. European models are made, but not enough of them.
