just been on the BBC news web site and seen the result of many years and a lot of money. It's great. Interestingly they asked whether it is carbon frendly, well no not really but then if it pulls a train from London to York with 6 coaches with 150 in each coach then it is in comparison with all the cars that might have been used.

on the first site above it says that it should run at 120 mph and be 60% more powerful than the predestor A1, so does that mean that with modern technology etc that Mallards steam record could be broken in the future.
