Would anybody have any idea where you could source a good looking replacement headlight from for the Triang Hornby Davy Crockett loco?

It has to be in red and cubic in shape and my thinking was there might be an American supplier of something that would look right as a replacement.

Happy modelling

I'd take a look at a Walther's catalogue......there will be loads oft lost wax oil lamp castings....
however, a question of 'scale' might be the issue...wasn't the Davy Crockett loco sized for 4mm/00? [rather than 3.5mm,HO?]

The easiest way to is to find a clunker. The Tri-ang Crocket is OO scale and not HO so the chance sare an American HO product will be smaller in size due to the smaller scale.

I do have clunkers come in occasionally at the shop, I will keep my eyes open for you.
