Hello,
I have a Trix Big Boy with Lok sound 2.0. The engine needed some cleaning so i took it to the bench to clean the tender wheels and engine wheels and to oil the rods and cranks and to check the gears to see if they needed lube. I reassembled the wheels in the tender and made sure the spings were in corrected and the wheels were positioned right. I also checked to see that the driver springs were in right and that the pickup shoes were also in right. I put the engine back on the track to run it and it shorted out. I took it back to the bench to make sure i got everything back the way it was and than back to the track. I just put the tender on the track and put power to it and no short, but as soon as i put the engine, by itself to the track it shorted out. I running DCC using Digitrax Command Control with the DT400 throttle. I don't know where i went wrong. Does anyone have any ideas for me on where i should look for the problem?
