Trix have announced their new items of 2007. As with Maerklin the TEE is a main theme with several TEE express trains announced. This is to commemarate 50 years of TEE.

The 125th anniversary of the Gotthard line is the other main theme and there is a brown croc and an Ae 8/14 which has been looked forward to by some.

A blue BR 03 has been announced just like the one Roco made last year in addition to the black one. This has a 21 pole connector but no digital sound.

There is also a one time series of the Rheingold in Epoch III

A BR 44 which looks pretty serious.

A Dutch NS series 1200

A red GG1 which marks the return of American outline.

The Gottardo which is a TEE expresss with digital sound and coachlighting with a return to the price tag that items like these attract.

There is also the Edelweiss TEE 75/30 which is an Amsterdam to Zurich express with digital sound.

There is also the TEE 82/85 Etoile Du Nord which has CAD designs shown on another thread

This also comes in a Belgian version and also has matching coaches

There is also a return to producing model kits which were absent from last years offering

There is a rolling road system similar to Fleischmanns

This set looks pretty good too

N scale also gets a brown croc which may be of interest to Dennis.

The full range can be seen on Lokshops website

So a return to the range previously offered by Trix before last years restructure. Some good things in there so I guess I better start saving.

Neil can you post some N Scale highlights like the N-Scale Steam locomotive with built-in sound? A first in continental prototype I think.
Some very very nice stuff in there Steven.....

Some excellent stuff new from Maerklin. The American streamliner look s quite similar to the Spirit of Progress which was a Victorian Railways streamliner from the 30's.

I'd really like to knwo why the Maerklin Croc and Ae 6/14 get sound decoder and the Trix ones don't?
At least now I have the option of using the Maerklin models so I may have to go out and get some three rail track.

The swiss RAe TEE looks good, what scale are we looking at Full 1/87 or the 1/92 size?
I have the Lima version which still is a beautiful smooth running model of full 1/87 length.
I will be very interested in the running quality of the drive of the Trix unit.

It's full scale length. The english translation is now available.

I've always found the running quality of Trix motor as excellent.
