Spotted today on the BBC website this news clip of an upside down model railway where the train defies gravity.

Maybe now we know why Richard uses steel rail; "down under" everything really is the other way up?

They say 'why' and the reasons are that it's different. OK, it's different, but where do you go from here? I'd prefer to see a wall mounted layout in Z-gauge perhaps. It could be used as an art-piece.

I've seen this done with slotcars. Not a massive take-up unfortunately...
