NEW ANNOUNCEMENT!

There will be a VINTAGE TT layout at our Open Day - built to show what the average model railway looked like in 1961 (the year our club was formed) - a typical 'KITCHEN TABLE LAYOUT'

Twickenham MRC are very PRO D&E modelling and we wanted to attract more D&E modellers so that we could build a large ambitious D&E layout.

So we started small and have begun to attract more D&E modellers. Here is a photo of EASTGATE under construction - come to our Open day on July 13th to see the progress we've made since this photo was taken.

And here's the missing photo of the vintage TT layout ………..

Built for the club's 50th anniversary show in 2011 it portrays how temporary 'kitchen table' layouts were built back in 1961 - even including a vintage tea cup and choccy biscuit.

Hoping to see YOU on July 13th.

Did YOU come to our Open Day last Saturday?

Are YOU a potential member? If 'YES' to that question then why not come down to our Summer BBQ social this Friday July 19th and meet our members and have a chat in a more relaxed atmosphere.

And PLEASE bring down something to run on our Multi Gauge Running Track. Our MGRT can cope with 14 different gauges from Z to G.

YES, fourteen! - so whatever YOU model/collect it can offer the chance to 'SHOW & TELL'.

Here it is at a previous Open Day ………….

And here is something running on the 'S' gauge track - I told you we cater for everyone!
