hi everyone
im fairly new here and im ready to build a new n gauge layout.

ive been playing around with xtrkcad and i wondered if you can print 1 section of track in proper scale 1:1 so as you can then cut the printed track out and use as template on your boards.

ive tried different ways this morning but no success and just wondered if any members have tried this with any success.

i sold my previous layout lock stock and barrel so i dont have any old track left to work with and i thought this would be a cheap way of of planning what i need to buy.

any idea's welcomed

There was quite a bit on using xtrkcad last year, I think in the layouts/scenery area. Try searching with the forum search engine and see what that comes up with.

if you put the point or other item on to the area and go in to print.
move the print box out of the way. set the scale at 1:1 and it will 'cut' the board up in to A4 size squares.
click on the page with the track in it and press print.
