VR B82, Prototype Photo Herbert Wilson
The B Class HO Scale model is scheduled for a mid-2007 release. This should be a veru good model. I saw Aucsision models at the Melbourne show and the quality of detail was very good. These are well worth thinking about for the diesel enthusiast. These are expected for delivery in mid 2007 Price is $255-265 Australian, about 100 Quid.

These will be available in a variety of liveries including;
Original VR blue and gold
This version will feature the original VR blue and gold livery as it ran in the 1950's and 1960s, on B74 & B85.
Both locos will have single beam headlights, nose doors, fuel tank valances, original fabricated
bogies, original exhaust positions, and polished side numberplates.
VR B75, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
Modified VR blue and gold
This version will feature the modified VR blue and gold livery as it ran in the later years.
B67 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with black surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, second pattern (Flexicoil) bogies, the inside of the whistles painted red, and the nose
handrails painted blue.
B72 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with light grey surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted blue, and chrome nose handrails.
B75 will have single beam headlights, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed, modified exhaust positions,
first pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted blue, and chrome nose handrails.
VR B67, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
VR tangerine and silver `tea-cup`
This version will feature the VR tangerine and silver 'tea-cup' livery, as it was applied in the early 1980's.
B68 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with light grey surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted black, chrome nose handrails,
and 'Radio Equipped' stickers on each nose and under each driver's side window.
B83 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with light grey surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted red, chrome nose handrails,
and 'Radio Equipped' stickers on each nose and under each driver's side window.
VR Tangerine B68, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
V/Line all-orange
This version will feature B84, which was painted in the 'V/Line' all-orange livery in late 1983.
No other B Class unit received this livery.
B84 will have single beam headlights, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed, modified exhaust positions,
second pattern (Flexicoil) bogies, the inside of the whistles painted dark grey, chrome nose handrails,
and 'Radio Equipped' stickers under each cab side window.

V/Line orange and grey
The 'V/Line' orange and grey livery first appeared on a B Class unit in the mid 1980's.
B63 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with light grey surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted grey, chrome nose handrails,
side mirrors and 'Radio Equipped' stickers under each driver's side window.
B74 will have single beam headlights, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed, modified exhaust positions, first
pattern bogies, the inside of the whistles painted grey, chrome nose handrails, side mirrors and no 'Radio Equipped' stickers.
B82 will have twin sealed-beam headlights with black surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, second pattern (Flexicoil) bogies, the inside of the whistles painted grey, chrome nose handrails,
side mirrors and 'Radio Equipped' stickers under each cab side window.
V/Line B63, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
West Coast Rail (WCR) blue,yellow and white
B61 was released to traffic in the striking WCR blue, yellow and white livery in early 1997, after extensive refurbishment.
The model will feature twin sealed-beam headlights with black surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, additional nose handrails and steps, staff exchangers plated over,
ditch lights and dual marker lights at the No 1 End, side mirrors and duplicated Brake Pipe and Main Reservoir hoses.
WCR B61, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
Murraylander
B80 was released to traffic in the eye-catching 'Murraylander' livery in 2000, after extensive refurbishment.
This locomotive has seen use on the standard gauge in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
The model will feature twin sealed-beam headlights with black surrounds, nose doors and fuel tank valances removed,
modified exhaust positions, first pattern bogies, staff exchangers plated over, ditch lights and dual marker lights at both ends,
side mirrors and duplicated Brake Pipe and Main Reservoir hoses
Murraylander B80, Prototype Photo Chris Nuthall
Southern Shorthaul Railroad (SSR) yellow and black
B61 has recently been refurbished, and repainted into the SSR yellow and black livery. This locomotive will shortly re-enter
traffic, and will work on the standard gauge in Victoria and New South Wales.
The model will include all of the features of B61 in the WCR livery as detailed above - the bogie type
will be confirmed once the unit re-enters service
SSR B61, Prototype Photo Allan Nicholson
Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia
(CFCLA) blue, yellow and silver
B76 is currently being refurbished at the SSR Bendigo Workshop, and will be repainted into the CFCLA blue,
yellow and silver livery. This locomotive will re-enter traffic around the end of 2005,
and will work on the standard gauge in Victoria and New South Wales.
The model will include all of the features of B61 in the WCR livery as detailed above - the bogie type
will be confirmed once the unit re-enters service.
