Gauge issue - VR is a broad gauge system (5'3"). According to Leon Obergs Locomotives of Australia the only recorded working on standard gauge was when the NSWGR commandered the class leader to work a freight on her delivery run from Sydney . Bogies were changed at the NSW/Vic border
Of course the book's 20 years out of date so this may have changed.. [Looking through the spiel above , it has changed , but you'd need a version in the more garish colours of the private freight operators to run a standard gauge version. But this could enable you to run it along side ex NSWGR locos in various liveries in services with other private freight operators. What you'd do for state owned passsenger stock's another matter...]
